NO-CHURN INSTANT
STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM
This is the nicest ice cream! You couldn't hope for a fruitier, more creamy ice cream. Only 3 ingredients required, too. It is very convenient that one uses frozen strawberries in this recipe, as it means you can make it year round. I don't own an ice cream maker at the moment as my old one croaked. I cannot find one in Panama, so will wait until I can get to Orlando, Florida one of these days to look for one.
2 cups frozen strawberries (500 mL)
(unsweetened)
3/4
cup whipping cream, OR heavy cream (in cans) (175 mL)
(comes in a box with longer shelf life than fresh)
Liquid sweetener to equal 1/2 cup sugar (125 mL)
INSTRUCTIONS:
In food processor with metal blade, or in a powerful
blender, place frozen strawberries, whipping cream, OR heavy cream and liquid sweetener;
process until smooth beginning slowly and then increasing speed. Serve immediately for soft serve, or freeze
for half an hour for firmer ice cream.
